'فديت | xbajt', is a performative audiovisual exploration of duality, disintegration, regeneration, time, hope and memory, performed at Farfara 2023 with Dali Agrebi.
Juxtaposing self written texts in Tunisian and Maltese against a loop of sounds created by Dali, the piece is inspired by the idea of leaving, starting fresh, and finding family, referencing intersecting experiences within very different contexts.
The process of writing the texts was fascinating- as we both went silent and started writing in our native tongues, the emotions and some of the words overlapped, creating a poetic conversation in 2 similar but different languages.
